PIA Invention Workings

The system “as a whole” workings

  • Initially "preferred" visual movement or object data is stored in database of a computer, or on storage medium which can be inserted into a computer. Example, preferred movement might be of an expert golfers golf swing or objects that are selected initially to be match to person’s performance or item they control like a golf club etc.

Also stored in the database, or on medium loaded into the computer is experts audio advice comments on how to perform the movement correctly, or bring attention to a particular situation.

  • After selecting application pupil would like to learn motion sensing camera and software with the pupil capture their movement and transmit the movement over a communications connection to the computer housing the preferred experts movement or object they wish to perform against

  • Once the persons movement data comes into the computer, the computer then analyses the pupils movement against the experts stored preferred movement or object and produces automatically a visual presentation which shows pupil their movement against the preferred movement or object.

The system puts the pupil - in the application - so they can see their real-world               movement alongside virtual expert or object movement!

Here person is performing exercise movement against displayed “object” - preferred           position to reach shown with yellow line.

  • Next the PIA invention allows computer to add when required audio comments from expert or virtual coach to the visual presentation so person knows exactly what they need to do to improve.

  • Finally, computer transmits this new personalised video presentation back to pupil to view on a screen, or the presentation can be downloaded to a storage medium for viewing at a later stage

All the above can be achieved in near real-time today!
